Anti-corruption policy

ORLEN in cooperation with local, global and public administration contractors, attaches great importance to acting in accordance with generally applicable law and ethical standards. In 2018, the ORLEN Group introduced the ORLEN Group's Anti-Corruption Policy, which defines the rules of conduct of employees and representatives of companies in relations with contractors and public administration.

General policies

  1. The anti-corruption policy is the formal basis for the implementation of the Anti-Corruption System in the ORLEN Group.
  2. The Anti-Corruption System is implemented and managed centrally by the Control and Security Office of ORLEN S.A.
  3. In the ORLEN Group companies, the Anti-Corruption Coordinator coordinates anti-corruption issues. 

Our goal is to provide a fair and transparent business model for the ORLEN Group that guarantees trust, security, free competition and value for all stakeholders of the ORLEN Group.

This means:

  • as part of our daily duties, we act in accordance with the values and standards of conduct of the ORLEN Group;
  • we do not tolerate corrupt behaviour involving the abuse of positions or functions for the purpose of obtaining undue financial or personal gain;
  • we actively build and verify awareness of ethical attitudes and corruption threats among our employees and contractors;
  • the ORLEN Group's management team is obliged to create a working environment based on respect for ethical standards and compliance with applicable regulations;
  • we avoid cases of conflict of interest that may undermine our integrity and credibility;
  • we comply with the ORLEN Group's internal regulations regarding expenses and gifts;
  • responsibly and knowingly identify and manage the risk of fraud and corruption threats;
  • we report and clarify cases of violations of internal laws and regulations regarding counteracting corruption and immediately take appropriate disciplinary and corrective actions;
  • we comply with the provisions of anti-corruption regulations in all places of our business.

His duties include:

  • supervising the implementation and implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy;
  • coordination of activities related to the functioning of the Benefits Register;
  • provides information on matters related to counteracting and detecting corruption;
  • maintaining training standards in the field of anti-corruption;
  • submitting proposals to the Anti-Corruption Coordinator of ORLEN S.A. for updating the Anti-Corruption Policy;
  • responsibility for obtaining, analysing and exchanging information on abuse;
  • responsibility for planning and conducting reviews within the framework of the Anti-Corruption System.
